The Horniman Museum is
a free, family friendly museum with exhibits from around the

The London tea trade has, for generations,
conducted the business of unloading ships, marketing, blending
and packing on both sides of the Thames close to London Bridge.
Although the tea auctions were held north of the river, the South
Bank boasted many prestigious warehouses. Also nearby is the
George Inn with its original seventeenth century coffee room.
Kenwood House (The Iveagh Bequest)
Kenwood House contains mainly 17th and 18th Century paintings.
However, a link can be made with the section on the Royal Academy,
because some of the chief artists of the time when the Academy
was set up are well represented in the collection at Kenwood.
